How long have you been with the firm?
I joined Blue Rock in 2024.
What was your background before that?
My 20 odd years’ experience were obtained in South Africa where I am from. I began working in employee benefits moving from the call centre into consulting in a large financial services firm. Following this, I made the transition to Group Risk Insurance where I have spent most of my career with South Africa’s second largest group risk insurer. I worked in various roles, with my most recent position being where I was accountable for all claims’ teams as well as the client servicing team.
I recently moved to the UK where I now have the opportunity to gain experience within the Commercial Insurance industry.
What are your special skills?
Client focussed and building relationships. I am motivated and driven to succeed while ensuring that I add value to clients and the business.
What do you get up to outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Going for walks – especially along the coast and I am always up for some shopping!
What is your guilty pleasure?
To snuggle up with a good book (or movie) and a good glass of wine.
